One Million Streams: A Catalog-Wide Milestone
Rival Waves has officially crossed 1,000,000 total streams across their catalog on Spotify and all major streaming platforms. The Austin, Texas alternative rock band has been building steadily since the release of their debut LP, A Meaningless Chaos, and the milestone reflects growth across their full body of work, including recent standout singles “Time’s Up,” “SLANT,” and “New Fear.”
From A Meaningless Chaos to New Fear: The Rival Waves Catalog
The million-stream mark spans Rival Waves’ full release history, from their debut EP, TRANSDUCER, to their most recent string of singles released on Lunar Drive Records.
A Meaningless Chaos, the 11-track debut LP recorded at The Bubble Studios with Grammy-nominated producer Chris “Frenchie” Smith, with nearly 500,000 streams alone, has attracted listeners in the US, UK, Australia, and South America.
“A million streams means a million moments where the music connected. That’s everything to us.”
— Joel De La Garza
